The Chiefs will take on the Giants of New York this Sunday in our first of 2 trips to Met Life Stadium this year.  Some of the crew will be gathering at Neighbors Tavers to watch the game, chowing down on some Jambalaya.  If you are interested in attending, contact Brent Cable (bcable@fanvancrew.com) so we can get a head count!  GO CHIEFS!!!!!

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Kansas City Chiefs - Sunday, October 15 2017

How about those undefeated Kansas City Chiiieeefffsss!!!  Well, we take on the Pittsburgh Steelers, and those stupid yellow crying towels, at Arrowhead this Sunday at 3:25 PM.  The gates are expected to open at 10:25 AM so we will need to leave Woodneath by 10:00 AM to ensure that we have our usual spot.  Tad, Scott, Ron and Josh from Forsythe will be cooking this week and we are looking to get a headcount.  Please fill out the spreadsheet with your information and any guests that will be attending with you.  Please contact me with any questions.

Philadelphia Eagle vs. Kansas City Chiefs Sunday, September 17th 12:00 PM CDT

Our first regular season home game is this Sunday when we will host the Philadelphia Eagles at 12:00 PM CDT.  Kevin Ewing and I will be cooking this week so I will need a headcount with guests, by the end of the day on Wednesday.  If you are not on the list, you will not be accounted for food and beer.  Please fill out the information on the spreadsheet.  

Right now, we believe that the gates will open at 7:30 AM so we will be departing Woodneath at 7:00 AM to ensure we are able to get our regular spots.  If that changes I will let you all know. 

I can't wait to do this again with you Assholes!

New Upgrades to the Fan Van

Pre-Season Is Here

The NFL Pre-Season Football schedule snuck up on us didn't it?  :-)  

Just a reminder for the Fan Van Crew that we have our first Pre-Season home game this Friday night at 8:00 PM against the San Francisco 49ers!  The gates to the parking lot will open at 3:00 PM so the bus will be pulling out of the Northland no later than 3:30 PM.  Please remember that Pre-Season tailgating is not included in the hospitality schedule so you are responsible for your own food.  We will be bringing the grill so feel free to bring something to cook, or if you give us advance notice we can add you to the food group for $10 per person.  You can indicate your participation by contacting Brent Cable (bcable@fanvancrew.com) or filling out the Spreadsheet .

Town Hall Meeting

Happy Friday Crew!  

I trust that everyone has been doing well since we last saw each other. I know that the Chiefs has been busy this off season and draft..WE DRAFTED A QUARTERBACK!!  Marc and I would like to get everyone, or as many people as possible, together and start talking about a few business items for the upcoming season. We can gather at Neighbors Bar (contact me for the address) on Wednesday, June 14th at 6:30 PM to discuss the following topics;

2017-2018 Budget
Proposed Bus Improvements
2017-2018 Hospitality Schedule
2017-2018 Driving Schedule and Requirements
Work Day Schedule
Open Discussion

We can gather for drinks and appetizers at 6:30 PM and start the meeting at 7:00 PM. Please let me know if you can or cannot make it by replying to this email so we can get a good count for food, etc. I'm already getting excited for this upcoming season and I hope you are too!

What do you think about those AFC Western Division Champions....the Kansas City Chieeeeffffssss!!!!  

The Playoff picture is set, and we will face the Steelers of Pittsburgh here at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, January 15th at 12:05 PM Central.  The gates to the parking lot will open at 6:30 AM and open parking will run until 7:30 AM.  With that in mind, we will be departing the Northland at 6:45 AM in order to get our normal spot.  It is imperative that we arrive at the stadium before 7:30 so if you are riding in with us, don not be late.  As with every game, we will need to get a headcount, including guests, so please fill out the spreadsheet as quick as you and with your information.  You have until Wednesday at 5:00 PM to get your information in there so we can make all the final preparations.  Marc, Jennifer, Dave and Troy will be taking care of the hospitality for this game and I think they will be serving Jambalaya and Chicken Strips for lunch.  Our annual budget did not account for the Playoffs so we will be asking each of you that will be drinking from the keg to donate the standard $10 per person to cover the costs.  Cash is our friend but we will also accept Venmo or PayPal.  You may hear from either Marc or I as some point during the week to help with some of the setup or grab some gear that we need...we will text you directly if we need your help.

Playoffs!!!
